Mondo's Beach is the #1 beach for beginners who want to surf in Southern California. Let us help you build a special relationship with the ocean and be comfortable with the waves.

Private Surf Lessons

Ohana offers a one-on-one surfing experience to give you the undivided attention of your instructor. You can fine-tune your lesson to exactly what you are looking for. This setting lets the instructor focus completely on you, allowing more direct feedback and the chance to catch many more waves.

Private beginner surf lessons in Ventura, Carpinteria, and Santa Barbara are taught at Mondo’s Beach, 3647 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura, CA 93001, and offered to adults and children. Each session lasts 90 minutes and costs $135; a wetsuit and surfboard are provided. (lessons booked with less than 48-hour notice are not guaranteed)

Group Surf Lesson

Group surf lessons are perfect for families, small groups, or couples. Ohana does not create or match people into groups. Your lesson can be tailored to your exact needs depending on the level of your surfing skills.
