Mondo's Beach Summer Surf Camp in Ventura
Summer Surf Camp 2027 registration opens in spring 2027.
Ohana Surf Camp's Mondo's Beach program is designed for kids ages 8–15 who want to learn to surf, improve their skills, and spend an unforgettable week in the ocean.
Location: Mondo's Beach, 3647 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura, CA 93001
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Ages: 8–15
Instructor Ratio: Approximately 1 instructor for every 4 campers
Equipment: Surfboard and wetsuit provided
What Kids Learn at Mondo's Surf Camp
Campers learn surfing fundamentals while spending plenty of time in the water. Our instructors work with kids on ocean safety, surf etiquette, paddling, balance, standing up, wave selection, and developing their surfing skills throughout the week.
Beginners are welcome, and returning surfers can continue building their confidence and ability.

Mondo's Beach is one of Ventura's best-known beginner-friendly surf spots. Its typically gentle, rolling waves provide a great environment for kids to learn the fundamentals of surfing and become more comfortable in the ocean.
