Marina Park Summer Surf Camp in Ventura 2027

Registration for Summer Surf Camp 2027 opens on Tuesday April 6th, 2027.

Our Marina Park Summer Surf Camp is designed for kids ages 5–14 and gives young surfers a fun, supportive place to learn and build confidence in the ocean.

Location: Marina Park, 2950 Pierpont Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Ages: 5–14
Instructor Ratio: Approximately 1 instructor for every 5 campers
Equipment: Surfboard and wetsuit provided

 

What Kids Learn at Surf Camp

Campers learn surfing fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment. Our instructors work with kids on ocean safety, surf etiquette, paddling, balance, standing up, wave selection, and improving their surfing throughout the week.

No previous surfing experience is required.

Marina Park provides a great setting for introducing younger surfers to the ocean. Our instructors choose the appropriate area and conditions each day based on the campers' ages, abilities, and ocean conditions.

Safety is always our priority, while making sure kids have plenty of time in the water learning, surfing, and having fun.
